Part of my inspiration was my amazingly talented artist daughter. Kendall and I read a book about making a family tree. She was very inspired to create her own and I think it is amazing! She was also very excited because her class was doing a unit on mapping. Our book reminded her of this mapping unit and that a family tree is kind of like a map of your family! I loved it!
