Fishing with Uncle Dan

I took the kids fishing with Dan this last week. It was Brady’s first fishing trip ever (he had been complaining to Tanell that I have never taken him) and although it looked to me like he had fun, he says he didn’t…”We didn’t catch any fish”. I tried telling him “Get used to disappointment” but he wouldn’t hear it.

And the fish you see Aiden holding…was dead when we got there. We can only catch the already caught ones.

Still…it was a great time.

Morton Family Beach Trip 2009

Two weekends ago was the annual Morton Family Beach Trip to Bella Beach. As usual we had a great time. This year we were able to see a mother seal playing on the rocks with her 2 babies and also saw a whale (which Tanell was WAY to excited about) and many other sea animals. My parents get us a place right on the beach which is wonderful. Here was our view of the sunset the first night along with a few other pictures of the fam.

 

 

More Kendall

On the way to church I couldn’t help but stop and take this quick pictures of Kendall. Yes, it was cold…yes, i’ve taken alot of pictures of her lately…yes, I love it.  I started messing around with Photoshop a little bit and was able to darken the picture and…oh who am I kidding. I don’t have any idea what i did, but I like the way the picture turned out.

Here are more pictures from last night. For the first time ever, the kids actually seemed to enjoy it all. I’m not sure they are model material, but they gave it their best shot.
